CHAMPION OS

Schedule-Driven. Evidence-Based. Built to Scale.

Champion OS transforms how youth development organizations deliver programming. Structured curriculum, real-time session delivery, longitudinal student tracking, and grant-ready reporting — all in one platform.

Currently in the field: Champion OS is running real cohorts with the School District of Philadelphia across multiple sites, serving students in youth development and out-of-school-time programs.

Champion OS is a standalone platform serving multiple organizations with full data isolation. Users exist once; roles are contextual. A person can be a coach at one site, a director at another, and a student in a third — all from one account.

How It Works

1

Author Reusable Content

Content Managers build Units, Sessions, and Lanes once — they're referenced wherever needed across tracks and orgs

2

Configure Cohorts

Site Directors assign templates to cohorts, set start dates, and the platform projects the full calendar automatically

3

Deliver Sessions

Coaches anchor sessions in real-time. Students see their current unit; observations and completions flow instantly.

4

Track Longitudinal Growth

Progress follows the student — pillar events, completions, and observations persist across cohorts and tracks

5

Export & Report

Generate CHAMPION Standard exports for funders. Support for 21st CCLC, Cityspan, CEDS, and custom standards.

Funder Portal

Live Data. Full Provenance. Grant-Ready.

Funders are a first-class role with a dedicated portal. Site-less, read-only access to organization data scoped by grant. Watch program delivery happen in real-time — a coach logs an observation and it appears on your dashboard within seconds.

Live Dashboard

Real-time updates as sessions are delivered. Watch pillar events and story moments appear without refresh.

Pillar Heatmaps

Per-student, per-pillar event counts with full provenance — click any cell to see the contributing observations, completions, and attendance streaks.

Impact Stories

Coach observations marked visible to funders, tagged by pillar, surfaced in a live feed. Real student transformations, not abstract metrics.

Multi-Site Comparisons

Attendance, completion rates, and pillar coverage across every site in your portfolio — sortable, filterable, exportable.

Privacy-First Design

Student names anonymized to first name + last initial. Anonymization enforced at the query layer, not display time.

CHAMPION Standard Export

The published superset of all student data — base profile plus all extensions. One export, complete provenance, full audit trail.

“Click any data point and see exactly what produced it — the specific observations, unit completions, and attendance streaks. That provenance is what makes the data credible rather than abstract.”

Open Standard

The CHAMPION Standard

The CHAMPION Standard is the published superset of all student data: base profile fields plus every available extension, documented, versioned, and exportable. It's the authoritative view of a fully-instrumented student.

  • Three-layer data model: Base profile, Standard extensions, Full standard
  • Single point of truth for overlapping fields across standards
  • Versioned and publicly documented (v1.0, v2.0, etc.)
  • Positioned as infrastructure for the field, not a proprietary tool

When pitching to city-level education leaders or national OST networks, the CHAMPION Standard demonstrates the platform's broader ambition.

Reporting Compatibility

Works With Your Standards

Standard extensions are modular data sets that attach additional fields to student records. Each extension corresponds to a specific external reporting requirement. Activate only the extensions relevant to your obligations.

Global Content Library

Platform Content Managers maintain the global library — including Explorers, Rising, and Ignite curricula. Organizations can author their own content or submit custom tracks for inclusion in the global library, creating a pathway for orgs with strong programming to contribute to the broader ecosystem.

The Power of Independent Lanes

Champion OS's lane-based scheduling is the real differentiator. Each weekday maps to one independent, sequential lane. A missed day pauses only that lane; everything else stays on track.

How Lanes Work

  • Monday: Communication Lane
  • Tuesday: Coding Lane
  • Wednesday: Esports Strategy
  • Thursday: Media Production
  • Friday: Showcase & Reflection

Why It Matters

  • Self-paced work stays correct even with closures
  • Missed sessions don't cascade to other lanes
  • Attendance and completion streaks are per-lane
  • Students see exactly where they are in each sequence
  • Recovery is immediate; no catch-up chaos

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does implementation take?+

Onboarding typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the number of sites and custom configuration needs. We provide full support including staff training, content migration (if needed), and go-live assistance. Subsequent sites can come online much faster.

What happens to our data if we leave?+

All your data is yours. You can export your complete student records, cohort history, and observations in the CHAMPION Standard format at any time — no lock-in, no fees for portability. Other platforms can import CHAMPION Standard data.

How is student data kept private?+

Student names are anonymized at the database query layer, not just hidden on screen. Funders see only first name plus last initial. Full FERPA compliance is enforced. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Audit trails track every access.

Do we have to use your curriculum?+

No. Champion OS supports both the global content library (with pre-authored tracks and lanes) and your own custom curriculum. Author once, deploy across sites. Full content flexibility with no platform lock-in.

Why does a youth-development platform include esports?+

Esports is a credible hook that drives attendance and belonging. Competitive gaming is instrumentede exactly like any other session: tracked pillar events, coach observations, student progress. The gameplay builds real-world skills in communication, strategy, and resilience.

Who is Champion OS for?+

All three: individual youth organizations, school districts running after-school programs, and funders managing portfolios of programs. Our contextual-role model means one person can be a coach at one site, a director at another, and a student in a third — all from one account.
